FreeUndelete is a powerful application that allows you to recover deleted files and folders from NTFS 1.0, NTFS 2.0, FAT32 or FAT16 file systems in a snap. It retrieves any type of files lost due to accidental removal or deletion from the Windows Recycle Bin. The interface is really simple and intuitive, and does not include any complex feature. It allows you either scan your entire disk in search of all retrievable files, select a specific file or set different filters to folders or files. It also includes the WFTDump feature which analyzes the NTFS logical disks and provides status information to see which things can be recovered and which not. It also provides additional information about the file such as the size, path, format, date of creation and modification. It also informs you the status of the file, classifying it as good, average and poor. It has the ability to recover entire folders preserving the structure so the files are in the same order as they were. It supports Windows 2000, XP, Vista or 2003 Server, but not Windows 98, 98SE or ME. |
